The cornerstone of the
new york athletic club
Elite athletics is the cornerstone of the New York Athletic Club. It is what sets the Club apart, what gives it its sheen, and what makes the winged foot emblem renowned in athletic arenas all around the world. The NYAC's commitment to athletic excellence began with its founding in 1868 and continues, as steadfast as ever, to this day. The NYAC's athletes are its most visible ambassadors, all committed to the vision of their late teammate, Olympic legend Al Oerter, who stated, "Great things are expected of you when you wear the winged foot."
