Travers Island Pool & Lawn

At Travers Island, our stunning outdoor pool and vast lawn offer breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and recreation.

There are several Seasonal Membership options, from individuals to the whole family. Day Passes are also available as well for both members and guests.

In addition to access to the Pool, the Pool and Lawn access fee includes access to the Kiddie Pool, the nearby playground, The Shack, The Tiki Bar and other offerings below:

Daybed Rentals

Saturdays and Sundays: 10am-6pm
(The last day is Sunday, September 28th).

Daily-Use Cabana Rentals

  • For those just spending the day, we now offer Day-Use Cabana rentals for $10 per day. 
  • These feature resettable electronic locks with custom codes and a space to hold all your gear for the day.
  • Cabanas are enhanced with a floor mat, mirror and hooks.
  • No reservations, these are first come first served and may be booked when checking in at the Cabana Front Desk.

Activity Check-Outs

  • Check the board by Towel Desk to see what complimentary games and activities are available for use. (A $20 fee will be charged if not returned or returned damaged)
  • Games include: 
    • Giant Jenga
    • Ring Toss
    • Corn Hole
    • Connect Four
    • Dominoes
    • Tower Ball
    • And more!

Bocce Courts Rules and Regulations

  • Bocce balls may be checked out at the Cabana Front Desk for Open Play from 10AM-11AM and after 3PM daily
    • Unreturned or damaged balls will result in a $50 fee.
  • Bocce Courts are reserved for Bocce Club Members and Court Maintenance from 11:30AM to 3PM daily.
  • Children under 14 years old must be supervised by an adult.

Lap Lanes

After Labor Day hours are as follows:
Saturday and Sunday: 6am to 8am and 10am to 12pm
The last day is Sunday, September 28th.

Please note that on Saturday, September 13th and 20th, the SMP will be using the pool from 10am to 11am and Lap Swimming will follow thereafter.

Early morning lap swim (6am to 8am) is complimentary after Labor Day for all members. Guests will be charged the full daily fee.
The pool staff reserves the right to leave lanes in longer or remove them earlier depending on crowd.
The Travers Island Pool is complimentary to all members after Labor Day. Guests are charged the regular rate.
